Here is our brief introduction:
“German Treffpunkt” meaning German meeting point, is the only registered Institute in North Karnataka, dedicated to teaching and spreading German as a language of communication for career advancement, higher studies in six counties where German is spoken. We are based out of Hubli-Dharwad and we take online courses.
We, Dr. Vijayalaxmi Holennavar and Ms. Vidya Nadiger are the founders and trainers at this institute. We have extensive teaching experience in Karnataka University, Dharwad, and Bangalore University.
We have been teaching German since over 8 years and students at Engineering colleges around Hubli-Dharwad have been successfully learning from us. It is a matter of pride for us to share with you that we have Alumni of over 200 Students either working or pursuing higher studies in Europe or working in India with the German based companies.
We teach German language for different proficiency levels and we have been closely working with KLE Institute of Technology, Hubli, KLE IT, Hubli and SDMCET, Dharwad. We have recently signed an MoU with SDMCET Dharwad and KLE IT, Hubli.
At present we offer A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 in Hubli, with equal importance to all the four aspects of language learning – listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The Certificates are issued by Goethe Institute’s Max Mueller Bhavan for those who take examination for each level. We are the Multipliers / train the trainers and train those who wish to take up German language teaching as a career.
